As you play around with Twee at the moment, did you ever considered creating a text-heavy (but still illustrated) game with it? Maybe something of a guy arriving in a freeuse country or something like that? And personally (as I play around with it for a while) I suggest using the Twine 1.4.2 version or TweeGo instead of Twine 2 (there is no real advance of Twine 2 above 1.4.2).

Eh. I like Twine 2 as far as Twine games go. For a text-heavy game like you’re describing (minus the illustrations), I use Inform 6 and have it run in a web-based interpreter.

I don’t run a Microsoft or Macintosh OS. Twine 2 just works everywhere. ;) Sugarcube is nice.

(I did toy around with a “game adaptation” of one of my stories in Twine, but it’s woefully underdeveloped and never got past a couple short branches: http://www.philome.la/masterlovehurts/audreys-new-life/play)
